Prior to Exeter, he was the Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Management at AmeriCredit, now GM Financial. He has developed large, highly sophisticated risk management teams for multi-billion dollar auto lenders, and is experienced at growing lending organizations. He has authored more than 65 articles in industry and academic publications, and regularly speaks at industry conferences. In addition, Daniel has served as an expert witness on behalf of lenders in a wide range of legal proceedings. He formerly taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in business at the University of Texas at Dallas as well as LeTourneau University.

David has more than 30 years of industry experience, both on the dealership and auto lending side of the business.
